Iron products take many forms.

These are made of steel, but each has a different nature.

The body of the car is thin and durable, keeping the shape of the car.

The brake wire of the bicycle is soft.

The screw is hard and cannot be deformed.

The spring deforms, but returns to its original state.

 

In the same way, it is made of steel, but the different properties are related to "heat treatment".

"Heat treatment" means heating steel and then cooling it.

There are various types of heat treatment, and steel products are made by using them.
