(1) Low temperature tempering
Bake at 150°C to 200°C.
Reduces the thickness while maintaining the thickness.
It is quite hard, but it will be a steel that can be deformed somewhat.
It is a material for tools and gauges.
(2) Medium temperature tempering
Bake at 400°C to 550°C.
It has moderate thickness and sticky strength, and has springiness.
It is used for cutlery.
(3) High temperature tempering
Bake at 550°C to 650°C.
However, it becomes steel characterized by the sticky strength.
It is used for gears, etc.
