This time, I will introduce "tempering".

Tempering is basically done as a set with quenching introduced last time.

 

Heat again to the extent that it is not austenied and cooled.

This cooling is generally air-cooled , but water cooling is also performed.

 

By re-baking, the steel hardened by quenching is added to the sticky strength.

This makes hard and sticky steel.

Adjust the temperature of  tempering to match the required thickness and strength.

 

Next time, I will introduce three kinds of quenching.
