What is done in Hikari is electroplating.

It is a method of applying plating using electricity, and uses a plating solution in which ionized metal is dissolved.

Plating is applied by attaching electrons to the invisible metal ions in the plating solution.

Electroplating has a wide variety of metals that can be plated, and the thickness can also be controlled.
